Mommy and Baby First has the most loving, warm and passionate Doulas on the planet. Our Doulas are trained and certified, however they have what many don't have and that's life experience because they are moms first.
Our Doulas provide continuous support for the whole family through pregnancy, birth and the early days of parenthood. Filling a role that new mothers and families have always needed, we are there to listen, give confidence and not judge. Offering flexible, practical and emotional support we work in women's own homes as well as in hospitals throughout Georgia.
As Doulas we are not there to change outcomes, however there is growing evidence that having a birth or postnatal doula brings a number of tangible benefits. From reducing intervention rates, shortening labor and improving the condition of babies at birth. While this research is important, it's the less tangible benefits of having a non-judgmental companion during a life-altering event that most women remember and value. Our mission is to empower and support mothers with the care and support they need to take care of themselves and their families. We provide Belly Casting, Care of Newborn Baby and Mother, Doula Support Service, Lactation Support Services Breastfeeding Class, Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Class and Lamaze and Childbirth Classes in the Atlanta, Roswell, Woodstock and Kennesaw Area.
Mommy and Baby First was created from my hospital bed in early 2011. I was in my 7th month, having complication, was given Betamethasone and Progesterone and was told by the medical staff that I had to leave and take care of myself and my unborn daughter. I felt like I was alone and didn't know what to do. I came up with the idea, I created a website and began to brand my Pampering Doula Service for Pregnant Women and I added a customer service opportunity for mothers who wanted to take care of their children from home.

Servicing the health care industry for 29 years, from The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Maimonides Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to Belmont Village and Sunrise; I have enjoyed many years loving and supporting everyone I have come across with passion. I have been a Doula for over 28 years and a CNA for 5 years and I love caring for people of all ages. However, my passion is mothers and making sure they are in the best condition they can be for themselves and their families.
